The Berg Utica Collection allows you the freedom of a certain degree of customization; the top bed and stairs are always there, but the space underneath can be outfitted to satisfy your particular needs. Here we have the Utica Twin over Twin configuration; it consists of the twin size loft bed on top, another twin size bed on bottom and Berg's signature staircase. The matching furniture (desk, nightstands, ladder bookcase, hanging shelf) depicted on images is optional. The twin over twin configuration is best suited for two children of similar age sharing a room, or perhaps for one child who often invites friends over for sleepovers. The twin size lower bed rather than the full size one will perhaps slightly reduce the level of comfort of its inhabitant (particularly if this is an adult or a close to fully developed child), but in exchange it does leave a bit more space under the top bed, which gives you more options to choose from when it comes to filling that space up; the desk depicted in the main image above is the most common choice, but you can also go for some other option (ladder bookcase, nightstand) or none at all.

The additional images below and in the column to the right show this bed configuration paired with some of the optional items. Click on thumbnails to enlarge.
