Notes

Lea Deer Run Twin over Full is exactly the same product as Deer Run Twin over Twin Bunk Bed except that it features the 625-980 extension which converts the twin/twin bunk bed into a twin/full one. The only other dissimilarity has to do with the ladder: here we have the clip-on version, while the twin over twin configuration sports the one that reaches the floor (you may actually receive both ladders if you order the twin over full version, but we're not sure about that).

If you don't mind us saying so, ordering this version of the Deer Run bunk bed with larger bottom bed is actually a pretty good idea. Why? First of all there is the price: some stores actually offer it for less than the twin/twin version (?). Then there is convenience and comfort: for smaller kids, a twin sized bed will be probably do just fine. However, since children have this tendency to grow, once they reach their teens they might just appreciate a little more space. And what's more, you don't have to set this bed up as the twin/full configuration right away if for some reason you don't want to; since the 625-980 extension is detachable, you can add it to the arrangement only when it becomes a necessity. The downside to this approach is, you will at that point have to change the lower mattress too, plus you will also need to order the ladder for twin/twin version separately.

However, if you like to snuggle in with your child for some reading before bed time, then you'll enjoy the full size bed right away. Plus, this configuration also makes it easier to make the top bunk because there is something to stand on as you pull/tuck the sheets in.
