Lea Elite Classics Twin over Full is exactly the same product as Elite Classics Twin over Twin Bunk Bed except that it features the 816-980 extension which converts the twin/twin bunk bed into a twin/full one. The ladder is different also: here we have the clip-on version, while other Elite Classics bunk and loft beds sport the one that reaches all the way down to the floor. Extending the bottom bed into the full size can be useful in many situations; if you have two kids with significant difference in age, the older one will probably need some more space to feel comfortable. And even if your children are small enough not to require much sleeping space now, you may want to think ahead and be prepared for the time when they do. Parents who enjoy snuggling in with their children for some reading before bed time will be grateful for the additional space too. And, not unimportant, this configuration makes it easier to make the top bunk because there is something to stand on as you work the sheets.

Note: depending on your situation, it may actually be a better idea to get the Elite Classics Full over Full Bunk Bed instead of the Twin-over-Full one. The Full/Full version features both top and bottom beds in full size and actually (at the time of this writing) costs less than the Twin/Full version.
